So much for the scattered updates. I guess I am not that inclined to keep a blog, since I haven't made time for it or taken photos of the various commissions and paintings I've worked on over the summer. Since I am no longer in school and have retreated to the country to live in fairly distraction free isolation, I had imagined that I would pump out the work over four months, explore series and start to discover my own style as an artist.... but somehow there is still so much to do (not even remotely art related) and never enough time to do it. And now I'm on the brink of a huge adventure, leaving the country for an unknown amount of time for the pure sake of travel, and feeling among many other things a sense of frustration towards myself for not taking advantage of the solitude to create and work and paint, without restriction or deadline.
