A lot of time spent waiting for buses and connections etc., usually sheltering in a park somewhere, with all my worldly possessions scattered around me
Sketching while traveling takes more dedication than you'd think. All that I've brought with me is a small plain papered sketchbook and a tiny case of watercolours. Once I get to south east Asia, the pace of my travels will get really hectic and I don't imagine I'll have much incentive to sit and draw... Although I should, bangkok alone is going to provide immense amount of visual fodder and inspiration... I'm gunna Gauguin it up in the islands! Although there will be plenty of distractions... |
